[As of the 11th, the (still locked) equipment shed has been vandalized with the following chalk graffiti messages:

Well. It's actually not chalk anymore: It's blood now, running into the grass and staining everything.

Also as of the 11th, anyone within hearing distance will bear witness to a huge commotion: Several people screaming loudly (albeit muffled). The Yakuyoke girls, sans the one called Rin, are swarming around the equipment shed, probably going nuts somehow. It is Yakuyoke. All of their mouths are taped firmly shut.

HELLO FOLKS! BUSY WEEK. Let's recap:

Kenkou had an adventure! The kitchen is now open! Please also check out the spooks page for some updated information on the soot sprites, the head chef, and the school nurse

I have another minigame planned for September! It will run from September 26 - 29, times TBA. As you can see the game will span multiple days, and that is because it is our first mingle minigame! That is, it's a minigame where the teams will be able to intermingle with each other rather than being locked in a room together and asked to make specific decisions. More details will be forthcoming! It is not a trauma game by nature, but like. You can bring your own trauma. I will allow it. There will be IC incentives for it. You can also not bring your own trauma and just have a cute and happy little time, that will be okay too.

Another team will probably have a li'l adventure between now and then, to unlock more resources for you guys to play with. Keep your eyes peeled!

SPEAKING OF THINGS FOR YOU GUYS TO PLAY WITH: I do want to encourage the playerbase to make their own posts, including their own mingle posts, from time to time! You do not have to wait on me to post a mod-sanctioned flavored mingle to do something in the game. I am workshopping a new game mechanic to help incentivize this, and it may or may not be related to September's mingle game (IT IS RELATED). STAY TUNED FOR MORE ON THAT FRONT AS I. . . IRON OUT THE KINKS.

Sorry I still have setting pokes to touch, I got REALLY behind this past week and underestimated how much time I would have to do mod things at work today ;;;;; PLEASE HAVE A LITTLE GRACE FOR ME AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE, SETTING POKE RESPONSES ARE NOW AT THE TOP OF MY PRIORITY LIST.

[You wake up the morning of September 8, and. . . the food is burnt again. Worse than it was last weekend. There is barely anything edible in the morning breakfast spread. Maybe you choke it down anyway? Maybe you decide to wait and see if lunch is any better? Either way, it isn't ideal. This sucks! What is even going on??]

[Thankfully, by the time lunch rolls around, the food seems to be back to normal. . . although there are an awful lot of Kenkou's hanging around the newly opened kitchen door]

[So. . . you know those bloody footprints that have been following people around? There's a trail of them meandering all over the cafeteria (ew, that's where you eat food??) today. Unlike the others, they don't seem to vanish the longer you stare at them. And they appear to lead towards the. . . locked kitchen door??]

[The "staffing issues" from last weekend have seemingly resolved themselves; the food at the cafeteria is back to normal levels of mediocrity! Which is good, because something else seems to be stalking the school hallways today]

[You hear it before you see it. Footsteps that echo behind yours, perfectly in sync with every step you take. Turn around and there is no one there. . . but you do see a set of bloody footprints trailing after you. They aren't your footprints (they belong to someone's bared feet, while you're presumably wearing shoes), and they slowly vanish the longer you stare at them. Creepy! Weird!! Unsettling!!]

[But maybe not as creepy as the ghost of a hand you feel brushing against your shoulder. It's a light touch. It's a cold touch, ice flowing through your veins as it chills you from the inside out, sending your teeth chattering and your body trembling. No matter what you do, for the next 24 hours, you cannot seem to warm yourself up. Blankets don't work. Physical activity doesn't work. Hell, even a steaming hot shower back at the dorms doesn't seem to thaw you out. You're not quite hypothermic, you may be close!!]

[What does work to dispel the cold, however, is. . . . . . . . . . . body heat. Snuggling up with someone else and/or sharing a blanket will warm characters up in a pinch. Maybe it's pillow fort and/or sleepover time?? Go find a partner and take care of yourself]

[The footprint ghost will linger throughout the weekend before disappearing on Monday morning]
